Associate Accountant
Under direct supervision, responsible for assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and in preparing basic financial reports.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with reconciling general ledger accounts, bank statements, and fixed assets.
Posts, reviews, and verifies the accuracy of journal entries. Analyzes general ledger accounts and records to ensure compliance with GAAP.
Prepares reports and financial statements.
Supports the accounting manager in completing travel requests, and general office requests. Reviews and transfers travel prepaid for all departments.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience: 6 months to 1 year
Type of Skill and/or Required Licensing/Certification: Microsoft Office, Office equipment (e.g., computer, copier)
