Community Engagement Specialist
Plans and implements community engagement initiatives that support various initiatives as assigned.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
In collaboration with appropriate departments provides coaching, support, and unity engagement strategies.
Assists in the development and implementation of community engagement programs, initiatives, and activities in collaboration with appropriate departments.
Uses a variety of multimedia and social media to inform internal and external audiences about community engagement efforts.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience: 5 to 7 years
Type of Skill and/or Required Licensing/Certification: Microsoft Office Suite; office equipment (e.g., computer, copier) Classroom experience (or relevant K-12 experience) and/or community outreach and organizing experience Bilingual skills preferred.
