Community Engagement Specialist


Plans and implements community engagement initiatives that support various initiatives as assigned.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  •  In collaboration with appropriate departments provides coaching, support, and unity engagement strategies.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of community engagement programs, initiatives, and activities in collaboration with appropriate departments.

  • Uses a variety of multimedia and social media to inform internal and external audiences about community engagement efforts.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience: 5 to 7 years
Type of Skill and/or Required Licensing/Certification: Microsoft Office Suite; office equipment (e.g., computer, copier) Classroom experience (or relevant K-12 experience) and/or community outreach and organizing experience Bilingual skills preferred.
